Bollywood actress Hema Malini, that is a candidate of the BJP, is ready to re-enter the RS – this occasion from Karnataka. Hema was selected to the Rajya Sabha in the year 2003 by the then PM Vajpayee. Her selection as the Bharatiya Janata Party applicant for the Mar 3 polls was publicized in ND later on February 18 though there were numerous competitors from the Karnataka state Bharatiya Janata Party for the seat.
CM Karnataka rejected a split in the state BJP unit over Hema’s choice.”There isn’t any split. The party high control has taken the final decision and we are all bound by it,” he explained.Hema Malini is planning to submit her documents on February 21, the last day for doing so.
