Kajol shakes her booty

The actress pursues dance while on her second, much-extended maternity leave from the film industry

Though Kajol is still on a break from films after delivering her second child almost a year ago (her son Yug turns one on September 13), the actress has found a fun way of keeping herself fit and occupied.

She has been learning Western dance at her friend Bhavesh Gandhi's institute. What's more, she will soon match steps with the students.

Confirms Kajol, "I am just doing one special class."

The actress is slated to get jiggy with dance enthusiasts at the institute's branch in Bandra in the coming weeks.

There will be strut jazz, salsa, contemporary, fusion, rock-n-roll, Afro and Bollywood fusion, it's not sure which dance form she will perform with the students.

According to the institute's spokesperson, "Our students are looking forward to dancing with Kajol."

Kajol returns to ad shoots, busy as ever, after a maternity break

After taking a break to look after her second-born Yug, Kajol Devgn has been shooting round-the-clock for her multiple brand endorsements.

Limited work

Says a source, "For a month now, Kajol has been shooting every week for her eight brands back-to-back.

They have all renewed their contracts with her. The brands waited for her to return as they feel that Kajol has unmatched credibility.

Post the birth of her son Yug on September 13 last year, she was clear that she wanted to wait till March 2011 before shooting again."

She told her brand manager that family was her first priority. "Even now, she only works weekdays and keeps the weekends free for family commitments.

Husband Ajay Devgn also doesn't shoot on Sundays too."

Apart from existing brands, Kajol has also signed two new brands; one's a lifestyle brand. "She's still very choosy about her choices.

She looks at the creative aspects very carefully and gives high consideration to the creatives before signing the brand."

Mysterious girl

Manish Malhotra who styles all Kajol's outfits for her films and endorsements says, "Though she is not fussy about her look or outfits, she does say what she is comfortable with.

Sometimes, Kajol makes an effort and sometimes she makes less effort it all depends on her. Also there is a trust level as we've been working together since 1994."
